MetaVersus WISH Online (Dev Build) [260927] Update

A 1v1 deck-building duel between you and me: MetaVersus WISH Online!

Hello, Duelists! This is the MetaVersus development team.
'MetaVersus WISH Online' has just been updated.

Note: MetaVersus WISH Online is currently open only to selected participants. To get access, please visit the Team Crescendo Discord.

Update Details

Duelists

  • [ Sio ] joins the battle!
    • For the first 30 days after release, this Duelist can only be unlocked in the Shop for 590 Jewels. After 30 days, the Duelist will be sold at the regular price of 2,900 Powder / 290 Jewels.
    • Warning! All records, including unlock data, will be reset at the game's official launch.
  • Fixed an issue where the numbers on Kalila's AMB badge were displayed in a different font.

Match Modes

Private Match (formerly Friendly)

  • 'Friendly' in Match Modes has been renamed to 'Private Match' and completely overhauled. 'Friendly' is now the name for the group of modes that includes Private Match.
  • For details on the revamped Private Match, see the Private Match guide.
  • Added the Friendly Master Key consumable item.
    • If the Host has a Master Key, every Duelist in the room can use any Duelist without a Trial Ticket.
    • Available in the Shop's 'Other' tab in 1-day (10 Jewels) / 7-day (70 Jewels) / 30-day (300 Jewels) increments, and durations stack. (Purchases cannot be canceled.)
    • We plan to make this item usable in the upcoming “Contest Match” as well.
  • Trial Tickets can now be used in Private Match even while under a Competitive Restriction.
  • Fixed an issue where the remaining Duelist's screen would freeze if the Rival left during match preparation (Duelist introductions, bans/picks, entrance) or after the match.
  • Fixed an issue where ready status, match record and First Player would become mismatched in rematches.

Ranked Match

  • If you can't enter because you don't have enough owned Duelists and Trial Tickets, a 'Cannot match' notice now shows how many Duelists are required and how many you own.
  • Duelists you don't own can no longer be chosen as candidates without a Trial Ticket. (This prevents the match from stalling when no Duelists are left to pick after bans/picks.)
  • Fixed an issue where the screen would freeze if the Rival left during match preparation (Duelist introductions, bans/picks, entrance) after being matched. In this case, you return to the Ranked lobby and the remaining Duelist is awarded the victory.
  • Fixed an issue where the Turn Time Limit was not applied in matches against human Rivals.

Event Match

  • Fixed an issue where the screen would freeze if the Rival left during match preparation after being matched.
  • Fixed an issue where cosmetics exchanged in the Exchange Shop showed as 'Not owned' until refreshed.
  • A 'Get!' animation now plays when an exchange is completed.
  • Fixed an issue where the 'A New Event Match Is Open!' and 'A New Ranked Season Begins!' notices were pushed to the left on wide screens.

AI Rival

  • The advanced AI now makes smarter purchasing decisions and goes for the win more efficiently.

Cards and Skills

  • Weapon Card Damage calculation has changed.
    • 'Double' and 'additional Damage' effects are now applied in the order the cards are played.
      • Example: If you play Sacred Longsword (+2) and then The Power of Laurels (×2), Longsword deals (3+2)×2 = 10 Damage. In the reverse order, it deals 3×2+2 = 8.
    • Effects that say 'the base Damage becomes N' do not erase doubling or additional Damage applied earlier. Effects that say 'Damage becomes N' erase effects applied earlier and set the Damage to N.
  • Fixed an issue where the Rival's Chase did not trigger when 2 or more cards were drawn through certain cards' draw effects.
  • Updated the text layout and wording of several cards to match the original design. (Effects are unchanged.)

Matches

  • Fixed an issue where dragging a Wishing Star onto a card caused other cards to be highlighted or the card preview to block the view.
  • The "Substituted" label has been moved to the center of the card illustration.
  • Fixed an issue where the screen shifted slightly after taking multi-hit Damage.
  • Fixed an issue where the tail of the card reveal speech bubble did not point exactly at the deck and Discard Pile.
  • Fixed an issue where the time limit display was misaligned when the menu was opened during a match.

Account

  • Added an account deletion feature.
    • You can request deletion in Game Settings → Account. Your account will be deleted 7 days after the request.
    • If you log in again within 7 days, you can cancel the deletion request.
  • After you log out or complete a deletion request, a notice popup now appears before returning you to the title screen.
  • When policy documents such as the Terms of Service are revised, a screen asking you to agree to the revised documents will appear when you log in.
  • If you lose your Discord account, you can now move your Game Account to a new Discord account by contacting Customer Support.

Other

  • Fixed an issue where the Account Level shown in the top left of the lobby updated late when claiming several rewards in a row.
  • Fixed an issue where the notice popup in the Duelist Hub did not dim the buttons at the top.
  • In the English version, all terms referring to the other player have been unified as 'Rival'.
  • Fixed various other reported bugs.
