Article 3 (Posting, Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
- The Company posts the contents of these Terms on the Service's initial screen or a linked screen so that members can easily review them.
- The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that the amendment does not violate applicable laws, including the 「Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions」, the 「Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.」, the 「Game Industry Promotion Act」 and the 「Content Industry Promotion Act」.
- When the Company amends the Terms, it will announce the effective date, the details of the amendment and the reasons for it in the Service or on the official website starting 7 days before the effective date. However, changes that are unfavorable to members or otherwise material will be announced starting 30 days before the effective date and notified individually through the contact method registered by the member, such as email.
- If a member does not express refusal by the effective date of the amended Terms, the member will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms. In this case, the Company will clearly state in the announcement under Paragraph 3 that "if you do not express refusal, you will be deemed to have agreed." A member who does not agree to the amended Terms may terminate the service agreement (delete their account).
Article 4 (Rules Other Than the Terms)
- The Company may set detailed standards needed to operate the Service in the MetaVersus WISH ONLINE Operation Policy, which will be posted in the Service or on the official website together with these Terms.
- If the Operation Policy conflicts with these Terms, these Terms take precedence.
- Matters not set out in these Terms are governed by applicable laws, the 「Guidelines for the Protection of Content Users」 and general commercial practice.
Chapter 2 Service Agreement
Article 5 (Formation of the Service Agreement)
- The service agreement is formed when a person who wishes to use the Service (the "Applicant") agrees to these Terms, applies for registration following the procedure set by the Company, and the Company accepts the application.
- The Company may refuse to accept an application, or may later terminate the service agreement, in any of the following cases.
- The applicant has used another person's name or information without authorization
- The applicant has provided false information or has not provided required information
- The applicant was previously permanently restricted for violating these Terms and is registering again
- The application otherwise violates applicable laws or is made for an improper purpose
- The Company may postpone acceptance if there is insufficient service capacity or a technical problem.
Article 6 (Registration of Minors and Consent of a Legal Guardian)
- Users under the age of 14 cannot register for 「MetaVersus WISH ONLINE」.
- Members aged 14 or older but under 18 (including those currently enrolled in high school) ("Youth members") need the consent of a legal guardian to use paid services. Payments made without consent may be canceled under Article 15.
- To protect Youth members, the Company may provide tools that allow legal guardians to check and control game play time, payment history, etc.
Article 7 (Changes to Member Information)
If a member's registered information changes, the member must update it without delay through the in-Service features or customer support. The member bears any disadvantage that results from failing to do so.
Article 8 (Account Management)
- Members are responsible for managing their own accounts and must not allow any third party to use their account information.
- Sharing, transferring, lending, selling, buying or pledging an account is prohibited.
- If a member becomes aware that their account has been stolen or is being used by a third party, the member must notify the Company immediately and follow the Company's instructions.
- The Company is not responsible for any disadvantage arising from a member's violation of this Article or failure to give notice under Paragraph 3, unless the Company acted intentionally or negligently.
Article 9 (Protection of Personal Information)
The Company makes efforts to protect members' personal information as required by applicable laws. The processing of personal information is governed by applicable laws and the Company's Privacy Policy.
Chapter 3 Use of the Service
Article 10 (Provision and Content of the Service)
- The Company provides members with services such as game play, purchase and use of items, and community features.
- In principle, the Service is provided 24 hours a day, all year round. However, the Company may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for scheduled maintenance, server expansion or replacement, or other technical needs, and will announce this in advance. If there is an unavoidable reason that prevents advance notice (such as an emergency outage), the Company may announce it afterward.
- The specific content of the game, such as card effects, characters and the rank system, may change due to game design and balance adjustments. Material changes that are unfavorable to members will be announced in advance.
Article 11 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
- The Company may change all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. If a change is material or unfavorable to members, the Company will announce it in advance.
- Termination of the entire Service (including discontinuation of the business) is governed by Article 21.
Article 12 (Provision of Information and Advertising)
- The Company may provide various information needed to operate the Service, such as notices, through the Service screens, the official website or the contact method registered by the member.
- Advertising information for commercial purposes will be sent only with the member's prior consent.
Article 13 (Intellectual Property Rights and User-Created Content)
- Copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Service and its content (game, cards, characters, graphics, sound, etc.) belong to the Company or the rightful owner.
- Members are granted only the right to use the Service and must not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast or otherwise use it for commercial purposes, or allow third parties to do so. However, creative activities are permitted within the scope allowed by the MetaVersus WISH ONLINE Fan Content Guidelines separately announced by the Company.
- Copyright in content posted by a member in the Service (nicknames, chat, community posts, etc.) belongs to that member, and the Company may use such content free of charge to the extent necessary to operate and promote the Service. If the member deletes their account or makes a request, the Company will stop using the content within a reasonable scope.
Chapter 4 Paid Services
Article 14 (Topping Up Cash and Purchasing Items)
- Members may top up cash using the payment methods set by the Company and may use the cash to purchase items in the Service.
- The Company may designate a payment agent to process payments for paid services. The payment agent designated by the Company is as follows, and any change will be announced in accordance with Article 3.
- Web payments: Xsolla (USA), Inc. (located in California, USA)
- For the payments concerned, the payment agent under Paragraph 2 acts as the Merchant of Record and processes payments, issues receipts, reports and pays taxes and public charges such as value-added tax, and handles chargebacks. However, the Company remains responsible for the content and terms of use of the services and content provided to members, customer support, and the handling of withdrawals and refunds under these Terms, and the Company is not released from its responsibilities under these Terms on the grounds that it has designated a payment agent.
- Payments made through an app market or game platform may also be subject to the payment and refund policies of that app market or game platform. In particular, payments made through STOVE or Steam are also subject to the payment and refund policies of STOVE or Steam, respectively. In such cases, the Company will inform members that processing under Articles 16 and 17 may be limited by the policies of that app market or game platform, and will explain the relevant procedures.
- The price, terms of use, period of use, etc. of cash and items are as shown on the purchase screen. Prices shown on the purchase screen include value-added tax. Depending on the currency or payment method chosen by the member, the actual amount charged may differ from the displayed amount due to exchange rates, overseas transaction fees, etc. Any such difference is governed by the issuer of that payment method or the payment agent.
- Cash and items can be used only within the Service and cannot be exchanged for money or goods or traded with third parties.
- Paid cash is valid for 5 years from the date it is topped up, and the validity period of free cash is as separately notified when it is granted. If a member holds cash with different validity periods, the cash that expires first (with free cash used first) will be deducted first.
- Information on the odds for each type of probability-based item is posted in the Service and in the probability-based item notice on the official website. Any changes will be announced in advance.
- Paid cash is managed separately by the payment channel used (web payment, each app market, each game platform), and members can use paid cash only in the Service accessed through the channel used to pay for it. For example, paid cash purchased on STOVE can be used only in the Service launched through STOVE. Free cash can be used regardless of payment channel. The Company displays this fact and the balance for each channel on the purchase screen and the Your Currency screen in the Service.
Article 15 (Payments by Minors)
- Payments by Youth members require the consent of a legal guardian. On the payment screen, the Company states that "if a minor makes a payment without the consent of a legal guardian, the minor or the legal guardian may cancel the payment."
- As required by applicable laws, the monthly payment (top-up) limit for Youth members cannot exceed 70,000 KRW. The Company tracks this limit in total per member account, regardless of the payment agent, app market or game platform used.
- A payment made by a minor without the consent of a legal guardian may be canceled by the minor or the legal guardian. However, cancellation may be limited if the minor used deception to make others believe they were an adult (such as using another person's name or pretending to have the legal guardian's consent).
- Cancellation under Paragraph 3 may be requested through the channels in Article 16, Paragraph 4. The Company will request only the minimum information needed to verify the legal guardian relationship and whether consent was given.
Article 16 (Withdrawal of Purchase)
- Members may withdraw a purchase (cancel the purchase) without any fee within 7 days from the date they topped up cash or purchased an item (or from the date the paid service began to be provided, if later).
- However, withdrawal is limited in the following cases under Article 17, Paragraph 2 of the 「Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.」. The Company separately indicates on the purchase screen of the relevant product that withdrawal is limited and obtains the member's confirmation.
- Items that are used or applied immediately upon purchase (e.g. Duelists (characters) unlocked immediately, consumable items granted and applied immediately)
- Cash that has already been used (including partially used) and items that have been opened or used
- Cash and items granted free of charge through events, rewards, etc.
- Notwithstanding Paragraph 2, if a purchased item differs from what was displayed or advertised, or was provided differently from the terms of the contract, the member may withdraw the purchase within 3 months from the date the item was provided, or within 30 days from the date the member learned or could have learned of this fact.
- Withdrawal may be requested through the in-Service features or customer support (help@metaversus.dev). Company customer support is the single point of contact for payments made through the payment agent as well, and even if a member applies directly to the payment agent, the Company will check the result and inform the member. However, payments made through an app market or game platform may need to follow the procedures of that app market or game platform, in which case the Company will explain those procedures and check on their progress. Withdrawal of payments made through STOVE or Steam is also subject to the payment and refund policies of STOVE or Steam, respectively.
- The Company will take the steps needed to refund the payment within 3 business days from the date it confirms the withdrawal request. In principle, refunds are made using the same method the member used to pay, and additional time may be needed for the actual deposit or cancellation of approval to be completed, depending on the procedures of the payment agent and the payment method issuer. The Company will inform the member of the expected time frame when the request is received, and if the refund is delayed for reasons attributable to the Company, the Company will pay late interest as set by applicable laws.
Article 17 (Refunds)
- Members may request a refund of their unused paid cash balance at any time. In this case, in accordance with the 「Guidelines for the Protection of Content Users」, the Company may deduct up to 10% of the balance or an amount equivalent to the payment fees before refunding. The deductible amount equivalent to payment fees includes the fees the Company actually paid to the payment agent, app market or game platform. However, the Company will inform the member that a refund may be difficult if the balance is small (equal to or less than the deduction).
- In the case of refunds due to the following reasons attributable to the Company, the Company will refund the full amount without any deduction.
- The member could not use items or cash normally due to a material defect or failure in the Service
- A purchased item differs from what was displayed or advertised
- The Service is terminated under Article 21
- Free cash and items granted free of charge are not eligible for refunds.
- Once a refund is completed, the cash, items and additional benefits granted through that payment will be reclaimed. If they have already been used or consumed and cannot be reclaimed, their value may be deducted from the refund amount.
- If payment fraud (stolen cards, payments in another person's name, etc.) is suspected, the Company or the payment agent may withhold approval of the payment, refunds and use of the account until the facts are confirmed. If a payment is declined or withheld by the payment agent's fraud detection system, the member may request an explanation of the reason and a review through customer support, and the Company will check with the payment agent and reply with the result.
- Article 16, Paragraph 5 applies mutatis mutandis to the method and time frame for refunds.
- Refunds of payments made through an app market or game platform may also be subject to the refund policy of that app market or game platform, and refunds of payments made through STOVE or Steam are also subject to the payment and refund policies of STOVE or Steam, respectively. The Company will explain the procedures and cooperate to the extent it is able to process them.
Article 18 (Overpayments)
- If an overpayment (an amount paid in error) occurs for reasons attributable to the Company or the payment agent, the Company will refund the full amount using the same method as the payment. If a refund by the same method is not possible, the Company will notify the member in advance and refund by another method.
- Members may claim a refund directly from the Company even for overpayments caused by reasons attributable to the payment agent, and the Company will process the claim regardless of its settlement with the payment agent.
- If an overpayment occurs for reasons attributable to the member, the member may bear the reasonable costs of the refund.
Chapter 5 Termination and Restrictions on Use
Article 19 (Termination by the Member - Account Deletion)
- Members may terminate the service agreement (delete their account) at any time through the in-Service features or customer support.
- Upon account deletion, account information, held cash, items and game records will be deleted, except where retention is required under applicable laws and the Privacy Policy, and cannot be restored once deleted. The Company states this on the account deletion request screen and obtains the member's confirmation.
- Members who wish to delete their account may first request a refund of unused paid cash under Article 17 before deletion.
Article 20 (Termination and Restrictions by the Company)
- If a member engages in conduct prohibited by these Terms or the Operation Policy, the Company may take measures such as a warning, a temporary restriction or a permanent restriction, according to the standards set in the Operation Policy.
- When the Company imposes a restriction, it will notify the member in advance of the reason, type and duration. However, where urgent action is needed (use of unauthorized programs, payment fraud, etc.), the Company may take action first and notify the member afterward.
- Members may file an appeal against a restriction within 15 days from the date of notice, following the procedure set in the Operation Policy, and the Company will respond within 15 days from the date the appeal is received. If the appeal is found to be justified, the Company will immediately withdraw the measure and restore the period of use, etc.
- If a permanent restriction is confirmed, the service agreement will be terminated. As this termination is due to reasons attributable to the member, refunds of held cash and items may be limited. However, Article 17 applies mutatis mutandis to unused paid cash purchased independently of the violation.
Article 21 (Termination of the Service)
- If the Company intends to terminate the entire Service for serious business or technical reasons, it will announce the termination, the reason, the date and the refund procedure in the Service and on the official website at least 30 days before the termination date, and will notify members individually through their registered contact methods.
- Upon termination of the Service, the Company will refund, without deduction, members' unused paid cash and paid items whose validity period has not expired (including the remaining period of time-limited items). Free cash and free items are not eligible for refunds.
- The refund request period runs from the date of the termination announcement until at least 3 months after the Service ends, and the specific procedure will be provided in the termination announcement.
Chapter 6 Miscellaneous
Article 22 (Compensation for Damages)
- If the Company or a member violates these Terms and causes damage to the other party, the violating party is responsible for compensating that damage.
- The Company is not responsible for the following damages that occur without intent or gross negligence on the part of the Company.
- Damage caused by natural disasters or equivalent force majeure

Article 24 (Dispute Resolution)
- If a dispute arises regarding use of the Service, the member may request resolution from customer support (help@metaversus.dev), and the Company will reply with the result or a processing schedule within 15 days from the date of receipt. Members may also submit disputes related to payments made through the payment agent to Company customer support.
- If a dispute between the Company and a member is not resolved amicably, the member may apply for mediation to the Content Dispute Resolution Committee under the 「Content Industry Promotion Act」, the Electronic Document and Electronic Transaction Dispute Mediation Committee under the 「Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Transactions」, or the Korea Consumer Agency.
Article 25 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms and use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Any lawsuit between the Company and a member will be filed with the competent court under the 「Civil Procedure Act」.
Addendum
- These Terms take effect on November 9, 2026.
- The previous Terms (effective November 7, 2026) cease to be effective as of the effective date of these Terms. However, the previous Terms apply to payments made before these Terms took effect.
