Match Mode Rules in Detail

First Player: Decided at random

  • If the Second Player's HP drops below 0, the Second Player's Last Turn is played and then the match ends.

Turn 1 time limit: 90 sec.

  • When the timer reaches 0 seconds, the game immediately moves to the Cleanup Phase and the turn is forced to end.

Time limit from turn 2 on: 20+70 sec.

  • The '20 sec.' is given every turn. Even if you use it all, you get 20 seconds again on your next turn. The '70 sec.' is a time bank you can use over the whole match. Once it runs out, your remaining turns have only 20 seconds each.

Forced match end by turn count: 30 turns

  • The match is forced to end when the Second Player's turn 30 is over. The Duelist with more HP wins. If HP is tied, the First Player wins.

Surrender

  • A Duelist who presses the 'Surrender' button after the match starts is recorded as a Surrender Loss.

AFK

  • If a Duelist does nothing during turn 1 until the timer reaches 0 seconds, or runs out of time on 2 turns in a row from turn 2 on, they are marked 'AFK' and recorded as a Forfeit. (Losing to AFK multiple times gives a 'Competitive Restriction' that blocks matchmaking for a set period.)
