Hello, Duelists! This is the MetaVersus development team.

We're posting this notice to give you an early look at the in-game item Pricing Policy for [MetaVersus WISH Online]. Everything in this notice may change at any time. If anything changes, we'll let you know in advance through Notices or in-game Notifications.

Currency

Trial Ticket

• A Trial Ticket is a currency you need to play a Duelist you don't own.
• Using 1 Trial Ticket lets you play a Duelist once, even if you don't own them (that is, even if you haven't unlocked them).
• In Friendly matches, if you pick a Duelist your Rival owns, no Trial Ticket is used and you can borrow that Duelist as often as you like.
• Trial Tickets can be used on any Duelist, except Duelists banned under the rules of the game mode.

There are 2 types of Trial Tickets:

Daily Trial Ticket

• Refilled to 5 every day at 12 AM.
• This ticket cannot be purchased.

Trial Ticket

• You can hold up to 99.
• Obtained from events or by purchase.
• You can buy up to 6 per day and up to 15 per week.
  • Each one costs about 100 Powder (about 1,000 KRW).

Powder

• Powder is a free currency used for unlocking Duelists, buying Trial Tickets and more.
• You can get it from:
  • Events
  • Quests
    • Complete all Daily Quests to earn a total of 100 Powder.
      • Daily Quests are missions that refresh every day at 5 AM.
      • Daily Quests consist of the following missions:
        • Normal:
          • Various missions to complete during matches, or missions that require playing a match with a specific Duelist.
          • There are 6 in total, and each one grants 10 Powder when completed.
        • Milestones:
          • Complete 5 of the 6 Daily Quests.
          • Grants 40 Powder and 1 Stamp when completed.
    • Complete all Weekly Quests to earn a total of 1,800 Powder.
      • Weekly Quests are about collecting the Stamps you earn from Daily Quest Milestones. Stamps reset together with Weekly Quests every Monday at 5 AM.
      • Weekly Quests consist of the following missions:
        • Collect 2 Stamps from Daily Quests: 300 Powder
        • Collect 4 Stamps from Daily Quests: 500 Powder
        • Collect 6 Stamps from Daily Quests: 1,000 Powder
    • So if you complete every quest for a week, you'll earn a total of 2,500 Powder.
  • Purchase
    • 1,000 Powder ← Purchasable in bundles of 100 Jewels.

Jewel

• Jewels are a paid currency used for unlocking New Duelists and the Cosmetics Gacha.
• Jewels are mainly obtained by purchasing them with real money.
  • 100 Jewels are worth about 1,000 KRW.

Unlocking Duelists

In [MetaVersus WISH Online], you need a Duelist to play a match, and Duelists must be unlocked by purchase before you can pick them. Devin and Arianna are available by default.

Duelist Unlock Pricing Policy

• When a new Duelist is released (joins the fight), for 30 days after release, 590 Jewels is their sale price.
• After 30 days, the price changes to the one announced before the Duelist's release.
  • Prices are as follows (you can buy with either option):
    • 1,900 Powder or 190 Jewels
    • 2,900 Powder or 290 Jewels
    • 3,900 Powder or 390 Jewels
    • 4,900 Powder or 490 Jewels (base price)
  • Prices are determined as follows:
    1. Duelists with Hard difficulty are fixed at “4,900 Powder or 490 Jewels.”
    2. The simpler a Duelist's cards and Skill, the lower we aim to set the price.
    3. We consider the “development difficulty” and “presentation difficulty” of the Duelist's cards and Skill.
• Duelist prices may change at any time, but we'll announce any change in a notice 30 days in advance.
  • As more Duelists are added, more complex gimmicks and mechanics may be introduced, and the average Duelist price may rise. In that case, we plan to adjust by lowering the prices of Duelists released long ago.
  • We don't plan to make any Duelist “free,” but if needed, we'll compensate with an appropriate Powder or item grant.
• Duelist unlock prices won't change even if the Duelist's cards or Skill receive balance changes.
• We are not considering refund or resale features, and we'll make this clear before you unlock a Duelist.
• Duelists available at launch will be sold for Powder or Jewels:
  • Difficulty: Easy
    • Lucius: 1,900 Powder / 190 Jewels
    • Leon: 2,900 Powder / 290 Jewels
    • Aeri: 2,900 Powder / 290 Jewels
    • Everett: 2,900 Powder / 290 Jewels
    • Nersern: 4,900 Powder / 490 Jewels
  • Difficulty: Normal
    • Ophelia: 3,900 Powder / 390 Jewels
    • Catherine: 3,900 Powder / 390 Jewels
    • Crimson: 3,900 Powder / 390 Jewels
    • Hilda: 3,900 Powder / 390 Jewels
    • Dana: 4,900 Powder / 490 Jewels
    • Giselle: 4,900 Powder / 490 Jewels
  • Difficulty: Hard
    • All: 4,900 Powder / 490 Jewels

Cosmetics

The Cosmetics currently planned are Card Backs, Emotes, Hit Effects, Profile Pictures and Titles. All Cosmetics except a few will be obtainable through Gacha, and we'll share more details in a future notice.

Other

• The Nickname Changer can be purchased once every 7 days for 490 Jewels.
