What Is a "Deck"?

MetaVersus WISH Online is a card game where you use a variety of cards to defeat your Rival. A stack of these cards is called a "deck."

Types of Decks

The decks you use during play fall into two main types: the Draw Deck and the Discard Pile.

• Draw Deck
  • Whenever you need to draw a card, you take it from the top of this pile. Its cards are kept face down.
• Discard Pile
  • Whenever you need to discard a card, it goes here. Its cards are kept face up, and you can tap it to look through the cards in your Discard Pile.

Starting Deck

Every Duelist begins each match with a Starting Deck made up of Stone x7 and Dagger x3. At the start of the match, this deck is shuffled to form your Draw Deck, and then you draw 5 cards.

Using Your Deck

You draw cards from your deck and play the cards in your hand. To play a card, drag it to the play area in the center.

• There is no limit to how many cards you can hold in your hand.
• When your turn ends, all cards left in your hand go to the Discard Pile, and you draw 5 new cards.
• By default, cards are not lost when you play them. Played cards stay in the "play area" and go to the Discard Pile when your turn ends.

Building Your Deck

Instead of bringing a prebuilt deck into a match, you build your deck as the match goes on. Buy cards during the match, gain cards through other effects, and more. Add cards to make your own deck stronger! The key is to think carefully about which cards to put in your deck. Consider how cards work together and add the ones that fit.

Note that any card you gain cannot be used right away (unless an effect says otherwise) and goes to the Discard Pile when your turn ends. See below to learn how these cards come into play.

Turning the Discard Pile into the Draw Deck

When your Draw Deck runs out of cards, your Discard Pile becomes your new Draw Deck. When this happens, every card you have discarded and every card you have gained so far gets shuffled into the Draw Deck.

If you have picked up good cards, they get shuffled into your Draw Deck, so your Draw Deck keeps getting stronger. Keep improving your deck this way and aim to deal heavy damage to your Rival.
